So, I decided to fly home to visit my family and friends for the holidays. I bought a flight that day, leaving the following Tuesday December 12. As fates would have it, a flight was cancelled, forcing me to miss a connecting flight from Brussels to Miami. I had no winter clothes and nothing but sandals&#8230; But I made it work, exploring and taking photos. I was going to make the best of my unexpected and first ever visit to Europe. I flew out early Thursday morning through Portugal, making it to Miami without a hitch by 330pm.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">So far my visit has been good. Easily falling into life here, feeling alomost like I never left. It&#8217;s hard to be without my husband because he couldn&#8217;t get a visa to visit with me. He suprides me with a beautiful wedding ring set for Christmas, surprising me by sending it here to Florida. Thank goodness for WhatsApp because we talk all throughout the day and even video chat.
