Kath used a simple brown paper sack as the base for this darling Easter treat bag. She stenciled a panel of cardstock, adding stamped and water colored bunnies, carrots and flowers along with a die cut layered sentiment and adhered the panel to the bag. I know this is the card making section of Craft Gossip but I love to use my card and paper crafting supplies to make other items<\/strong> and I bet you probably do too? It\u2019s simple to take supplies like cardstock, pattern paper, stamps, stencils and dies<\/strong> and use them to create fun and festive treat bags and boxes<\/strong> for any occasion. So with Easter coming up soon<\/strong> it\u2019s the ideal time to create something that will hold candy, home baked goods or little presents<\/strong> from the Easter Bunny. So, let\u2019s check out some cute ideas, <\/strong>many have tutorials and templates too!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nina started her project with a purchased bag that has a bunny window but you could do this with a die and acetate yourself. She decorated the bag with watermark stamping, adding a large white pom pom, a strip of pattern paper and tied ribbon. Take a closer look at the Nina Marie Designs blog.<\/a><\/p>\n

Ivy used dies for these darling ducking boxes. There\u2019s different add on dies that help you create various animals to fit the front of the die cut box. She used sweet pattern papers for their faces with orange cardstock for the beak and feet, giving each one a die cut green 4 leaf clover for some luck too. While designing your treat containers you can also use the same products to make a sweet coordinating Easter cards like the set shown here. Here\u2019s a clever idea: pop up box cards can also be used as candy boxes, there\u2019s lots of space between the layers to tuck in tiny treats! Ana created this one using dies for the base and some of the eggs, adding pattern paper and a stamped sentiment to the box itself. She also used a digital stamp for the adorable bunny nestled in some Easter eggs. I spotted her idea on the Polkadoodles Instagram page.<\/a><\/p>\n

Heather created a rainbow of treat bags that would look amazing lined up on an Easter table! She made them all the same way but simply changed up the cardstock and ink color on the die cut bags. Each bag front was stenciled, with a tag tied to the handle. She then stamped, colored and cut a row of rabbits, placing them on with die cut grass below. You can find a FREE template for the tall milk carton box base that Celes created and decorated with\u00a0 dies. There\u2019s a scalloped \u201cground\u201d with fringed grass, a carrot, pink layered bunny and a stamped sentiment tag clothes pinned to the top. Stacey cut, scored and folded her own little bag from cardstock for this darling design. She punched holes to run through with ribbon for handles, adding a sweet stamped and die cut tag as well. How adorable is Bibi\u2019s egg shaped treat box!? She used dies for the egg shape, using ric-rac dies to create the pretty handles. The fronts are decorated with sweet die cut scenes of Spring lambs surrounded by flowers along with stamped sentiments and touches a gold around the designs. Upcycle those egg cartons to make some fun treat holders. This one is filled with shredded green paper, some eggs die cut from bright pattern papers and a cute Easter Bunny tag with stamped rabbit, pom pom tail, heat embossed sentiment and washi tape loop. This cool idea uses SVG cut files and Cricut to cut out the bunny shape from white cardstock, adding layers of pink for accents and a beautiful glittery 3D bow.
