December Travels and SAROsurf.com

I finally received my resident card on December 5th. So, I decided to fly home to visit my family and friends for the holidays. I bought a flight that day, leaving the following Tuesday December 12. As fates would have it, a flight was cancelled, forcing me to miss a connecting flight from Brussels to Miami. I spent 2 nights in Belgium enjoying the sights of Diegem, a small European town. DiegemChurchSpire It was cold for this warm weather girl. I had no winter clothes and nothing but sandals… But I made it work, exploring and taking photos. I was going to make the best of my unexpected and first ever visit to Europe. I flew out early Thursday morning through Portugal, making it to Miami without a hitch by 330pm.

So far my visit has been good. Easily falling into life here, feeling alomost like I never left. It’s hard to be without my husband because he couldn’t get a visa to visit with me. He suprides me with a beautiful wedding ring set for Christmas, surprising me by sending it here to Florida. Thank goodness for WhatsApp because we talk all throughout the day and even video chat. I will admit that seeing his face is hard and it makes me sad he’s not with me but soon enough we will be together again.

We started a Surf Camp called SAROsurf, and a website for booking called SAROsurf.com. teelogo youtubeand a corresponding Facebook page. We are offering all inclusive surf packages starting at 325 € per week with accomodaitons in a lovely surf Riad complete with meals and a pool. Wish us luck on our Moroccan venture and give the website and Facebook page a look!imagesOnce this holiday adventure is over I will write more. Here’s wishing you all the happiest of Holidays and the best  New Year! xo
